The ribbon cutting ceremony welcoming a new attraction to OdySea in the Desert was held yesterday morning. Pangaea Land of the Dinosaurs is Scottsdale’s newest place for family entertainment.

Set among the warm sun of Arizona’s winter, roaming dinosaur mascots walked behind the podium as Casey Lee, General Manager, welcomed all the media to the event. Lee said “We can’t wait for our grand opening to be held this Tuesday, December 12th.” He continues with “Our ownership group has flown Danielsauras out from Texas to cut our ribbon today for our opening ceremony.”

Lee shared that “Our vision is to establish Pangaea Land of the Dinosaurs as a community source for future growth and education amongst children.” He also promised that the community support they extended to children this week with the Child’s Crisis Center of Arizona, the Cub Scouts, the Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center will continue in the future.

Adam Kariotoglou, Founder of Pangaea Land of the Dinosaurs, welcomed everyone and thanked his entire team that helped back him and support his vision for a one of a kind exhibit while Scottsdale Mayor Jim Lane expressed his admiration for combining entertainment and education for families.

Councilman Guy Phillips from the Scottsdale City Council always wanted more family orientated activities for their community.

New employment and revenue to the community pleased Councilman Michael Dallas from the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. After the ribbon was cut he immediately Danielsaurus’ hand.

Danielsaurus was one person who was very unique to add to the ribbon cutting ceremony. He is 14 years old and lives in Texas but is a huge dinosaur fan. His family joined him for the ceremony and were proud to watch their son cut the ribbon.
